We are thrilled to share the ongoing success of BGI Genomics’ Uruguay Clinical Laboratory! Our advanced technologies have firmly taken root there, much like sprouting seeds.

Since 2020, BGI Genomics has deepened its collaboration with Latin America, from successfully establishing the "Huo-Yan" Laboratory in Brazil to opening the Uruguay laboratory.

As the first overseas application of the "Huo-Yan" air lab solution for clinical molecular testing, the Uruguay lab provides high-quality precision medical testing services to the people of Latin America.

Working in this multicultural environment has been an enriching experience. Despite minor language barriers, their friendliness and our mutual support led to successful collaboration. Special moments, like receiving a mug with our group photo and names in Chinese and being hosted by Maggie, the lab manager who loves Chinese culture, made it memorable.

These seeds of collaboration have truly flourished, demonstrating the power of cultural exchange and teamwork.
