Service Description

BGI Genomics has extensive experience in the field of targeted metabolomics spanning accurate quantification of target metabolites, verification of hypothesis by untargeted metabolomics or other omics, and metabolic model study for specific metabolites1.

HM Pro2300

The HM Pro2300 panel uses LC-MS/MS technology for high-throughput targeted metabolomics detection. HM Pro2300 can simultaneously detect more than 2000 metabolites, including 700 small molecules and more than 1600 lipids which covers all kinds of important metabolites and core metabolic pathways. We also provide HM700 and HML1600, only detecting hydrophilic small molecules and lipids respectively.

Mass Spectrometry Service Specification

HM Pro2300 high-throughput targeted metabolomics services are performed using Waters ACQUITY UPLC and SCIEX QTRAP 5500, 6500+.

    • Custom-developed UPLC-MRM/MS methods combine isotope internal standard technology
    • Small molecules and lipids are extracted respectively to increase metabolome depth
    • Using SCIEX QTRAP 6500+, 5500 detect respectively small molecules and lipids to increase the scope of detection

    • Summary includes all methods and data analysis
    • Reports provided in Excel or PDF format
  • Turn Around Time

    • Typical 6-8 weeks after sample receipt
